Zolt connects to your car only through Tesla's official Fleet API, and only after you approve a virtual key on your vehicle's touchscreen. Commands are cryptographically signed, and your Tesla credentials are handled through Tesla's own sign-in — they're never exposed to the app.

No. Zolt is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" and related marks are trademarks of Tesla, Inc. Zolt accesses your vehicle only through Tesla's official Fleet API, with your authorization.
You sign in with your Tesla account and approve a virtual key on your car's touchscreen. From then on, Zolt can read vehicle data and send the commands you ask it to — all signed with that key.
Zolt is designed to be gentle. Live telemetry only streams while your car is already awake; when it sleeps, Zolt shows the last known state instead of constantly waking the car.
